Leathers

Traditional Antique:  This is a classic embossed rub of hide, that is mainly associated with deep buttoned furniture, such as Chesterfields. How it works: Once the hide has been upholstered the dark thin top coat is gently rubbed off to give the required effect. It is then spray sealed with the appropriate lacquer. This gives the classic two -tone antique effect.

Modern: Is an attractive corrected grain leather, which has a plain pigmented finish.

Elegance : A deluxe half grain pigmented leather, that retains its natural character and has a soft finish.

Vintage: A beautiful half grain leather with a soft waxy feel and a distressed appearance.

Heritage:  A natural aniline leather with a pleasing and distressed aged finish from new. Maintaining the authenticity of the hide, allowing for the natural characteristics of the hide to remain visible.

Industrial: An outstanding pull up leather, the subtle shades of this leather gives a worn and distressed appearance.

Fabrics

Smooth Plain Velvet: Beautiful soft matt velvet, that provides a modern look with added practicality and durability.

Crushed Velvet: Stunning soft to the touch velvet, providing the ultimate in luxury and sophistication whilst not compromising on durability or practicality.

Frames

All our frames are made from solid beech, using traditional methods, they are glued, screwed and dowelled on the joints for maximum strength and durability.

Foams and Fibres

We use the highest quality foams and fibres in all our furniture. Foam cushions – keep their shape longer and require little maintenance. Fibre cushions – will require plumping on a regular basis to return the air back into the fibres.

Buttons

Traditional furniture usually involves deep buttoning, to give shape and retain tension. Most button work involves a fastening into the frame to a depth of 2-4 cm.

Studs:

All our studs are individually hand nailed on all our furniture.

Feet:

We offer a wide selection of wooded feet in different sizes and shapes.
