Dust down your sofa as regularly as you would your table etc.. Use a small soft shaving type brush to clean the button areas without causing damage.
For occasional overall cleaning, use a mild, tepid solution of pure soaping agent, using a damp lint free cloth wipe over the area being careful; not to over wet. Dry straight away with a fresh clean lint free cloth.
Polishes, creams, detergents, solvents, leather foods, varnishes and stain removers should be avoided as they can damage the leather.

Real leather is a natural product. It breathes, is warm and has individual characteristics which are the natural charm and beauty of the hide. As a natural product however, it will often display tracers of its past. Such as: Brands and healed scars, neck growth, veins, marks and areas of differing fibre density and hair pore structure. These hallmarks no way detract from the wearing qualities of the leather. With the passing of time and use, it develops a patina which enhances its beauty.
